Heavy Industry
The assembly and maintenance of industrial plants represent a critical phase across a wide range of industrial sectors. These activities require precision, safety, and rapid execution, and frequently involve large components and heavy machinery that must often be installed or replaced in confined spaces or at height.
In this context, cranes, mobile cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial work platforms are essential tools for the handling and positioning of machinery and components, lifting and assembly activities at height, routine and extraordinary maintenance operations when required, and, more generally, internal material handling associated with industrial logistics.
Industrial Assembly with Lifting Equipment
Prior to every operation, Autovictor's specialized personnel carry out a preliminary assessment and detailed operational planning, including a technical site survey to evaluate the weights, dimensions, and overall size of the components to be handled. Particular attention is devoted to analysing structural constraints, access routes, ground conditions, and overhead obstructions within industrial facilities, which are typically characterized by confined and restricted working areas.
Planning activities are often supported by CAD drawings developed in-house by Autovictor's engineering department. Once the most suitable equipment type has been selected and configured in terms of lifting capacity, working radius, lifting height, and other operational parameters, the execution phase can begin.
Typical applications include the installation or replacement of presses, turbines, boilers, compressors, silos, and storage tanks, as well as the erection of steel structures and piping systems, frequently involving work at height on complex structures and within confined operational areas.
Aerial Platforms and Telescopic Handlers: Versatility on Site
Autovictor's truck-mounted, self-propelled articulated, and telescopic aerial work platforms are essential for all assembly and maintenance activities performed at height. The extensive range of equipment available enables safe operation in both indoor and outdoor environments, particularly during the final stages of lifting operations involving the installation, connection, or final assembly of components.
Autovictor telehandlers, both fixed and rotating models, are employed for assembly operations as well as light maintenance activities. Their ability to combine horizontal material handling with vertical lifting makes them particularly suitable for moving materials and equipment within industrial plants and warehouses, while also supporting elevated assembly activities through the use of man baskets. Their excellent manoeuvrability, compact dimensions, four-wheel steering, and all-wheel drive capabilities make them ideally suited for operation within indoor industrial environments.
Crawler and All-Terrain Cranes
Autovictor's cranes, including crawler cranes and all-terrain mobile cranes, play a key role both during assembly activities and in the positioning of large components or structures requiring high-capacity lifting equipment. Thanks to their versatility, these machines can operate effectively both inside and outside industrial facilities.
These operations are carried out by experienced Autovictor personnel who, based on detailed engineering studies, determine the two most critical operational parameters: crane lifting capacity and working radius. These factors are carefully assessed in relation to ground conditions—whether indoors or outdoors, as well as bearing capacity—and to the dimensions and weight of the component to be installed.
Autovictor's high-capacity crane fleet enables the development of tailor-made lifting solutions designed to meet the specific requirements of each industrial project.
