COMPLEX LIFTING OF A ROOF IN NOVARA
Lifting and positioning of a 42-metre-long, 15-metre-wide roof structure weighing approximately 35 ton required careful planning, precise coordination and the combined use of four cranes.
For this operation, Autovictor deployed two Tadano AC130 mobile cranes and a Grove GMK 5200-1 with the support of a fourth crane during the different phases of the lift.
The main challenge was not simply the weight of the structure, but its large dimensions and structural characteristics. To ensure controlled handling and minimize stresses on the roof during removal, the structure had to be connected to the lifting system at 28 different lifting points.
The operation therefore required a carefully engineered lifting configuration, with the four cranes working in coordination to control the structure throughout the lifting and removal phases.
A project where engineering, equipment selection and operational expertise make the difference. Autovictor — lifting complex structures with precision, control and experience.
